Adv. Yigal Weinstein is a managing partner in the offices of Woolfson, Weinstein & Co.

Adv. Weinstein is highly experienced in Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Banking Law, Tenders, Real Estate Law and International Transactions. Adv. Weinstein heads the office’s representation of clients in complex civil and commercial litigation cases as well as in criminal financial litigation (securities, money-laundering, taxes, etc.) at all court levels.

In addition, Adv. Weinstein represents clients before various regulatory authorities in Israel and abroad.

Adv. Weinstein also advises on commercial transactions and agreements, investment and finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and international transactions, and he represents foreign entities in Israel, from the phases of negotiations and legal risk assessment to drafting and executing agreements.

Adv. Weinstein advises the office's clients and provides consultation and legal expert opinions as a basis for clients’ activities in various fields.

In the area of insolvency, Adv. Weinstein has been appointed by the Israeli District Courts as special director of companies during freezing procedures; liquidator of companies in insolvency; and trustee for individuals in bankruptcy proceedings. Adv. Weinstein represents creditors and debtors during bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.

In the latter field, he advises and counsels, inter alia, companies and individuals – starting with preventative measures and advance preparation prior to bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings and on through initiating, consulting and advising on settlements with creditors. Adv. Weinstein also advises corporate officers and directors in matters implicating corporate officer and director liability in defending and ensuring protection of their rights.

Adv. Weinstein represents large international corporations in connection with their activities in Israel and advises companies on their operations in countries in Europe, Africa, North America and Asia in the fields of trade and infrastructure, security exports, real estate and energy.

Adv. Weinstein recently served as chairman and member of a variety of committees at the Israel Bar Association including, the courts committees, ethics committee, Net-Hamishpat and internship committees.

Adv. Weinstein also serves as an arbitrator in commercial and proprietary disputes.
